Hello.

Thanks for stopping by. When Shawn died, I had a strong desire to start a journal, but I couldn't even formulate coherent thoughts, let alone get them down on paper or screen. So, I took other people's words... anything that fit - stuff from greeting cards, bumper stickers, favorite quotes, voices in my head. Whatever seemed to get to the "theme" of that day. As time went on, this became a healing exercise and a mode of expression that has helped me to find something, anything, from each day to memorialize. No matter where I am or what is going on, I spend a few minutes at the end of the day doing these postings. Sometimes, it takes me a while to catch up from notebook to screen, but I filter so many things through this new lens. Over time it has evolved, but it remains as it began - searching for, and finding, inspiration in the mundane and wisdom in the most unexpected places. Or, as Robert Fulghum put it, "Words I Wish I Wrote."
